Chai Tea + Sunday Rambles

Hello lovelies! Today's post is going to be a chatty one because I've really missed writing these sorts of relaxed posts and they're my favourite kind to read too. So grab your tea and get ready to hear me ramble about everything Autumn / Happiness // GCSE's // and Blog Projects.

Firstly: I love Autumn rn. Kill me for being a basic-teen, but there's something special about this time of year in October that I love. Everything's cosy sweaters, pumpkin spice candles, cold walks, halloween, and then of course all the anticipation and excitement for the twinkly lights and Christmas shopping that's in the air at this time of year! I'm also really excited fo Halloween and Christmas in the blogging scene. It's usually my favourite time of year for blogging, and I think I'll be doing another Christmas Giveaway this year too which I can't wait to start planning too since last year's was pretty successful.

Unfortunately though, my mind doesn't seem to love Autumn as much as I think sometimes. Something about colder months, dark evenings and days when that grey miserable sort of cloud just lingers around... my head is like 'NOPE we don't like this Morgan.' I'd love to give you an update on how I'm feeling mentally, like I always do, and it be a positive one but if I'm honest - I'm not that great. Dark evenings means sitting at home and that feeling of no motivation and I don't know... bleakness that I'm finding really hard to shake off at the moment. Don't get me wrong. Your girl still loves Autumn. But I know my mind, and currently it's stuck in this depressed, grey sort of mood that means I'm not enjoying this month as much as I hoped.

In terms of school, so far I think Year 10 is going okay. I was expecting mountains of work to get used to but (even though it's been stressful) it's actually been fine. I'm still happy as ever with the GCSE options I chose, Triple Science, History, French, and Product Design... the only downside is having to carry thousands of different folders to school every day! I know it's stupid too, but I can't help thinking 'am I too relaxed' about Year 10 even though my exams aren't until Year 11. Like, shouldn't I be revising all the time? Should I be stressed? But at the end of the day maybe I'm just handling it better than I thought.

Another little blogging/'life' update, this week I started up my own Blogging Promo Account on twitter called @sunsetbloggers. I've always wanted to make my own account, the kind you see hosting twitter chats // promo hours // and retweeting other bloggers and so that's how we got to Sunset Bloggers, a positive space for me and other bloggers to share and retweet each other's posts with Promo Hours every Wednesday at Sunset Time (7-8pm GMT) It was such a fun lil blogging project that's different to anything I've tried before and the idea for the account is that bloggers can share and comment on each others latest posts in the #sunsetbloggers promo hour, and basically have a cosy wind-down at the end of the day, sharing and reading new posts in the evening (preferably with a hot chocolate because it's Autumn right?) I've got no idea how well it will go, but so far it's gaining more and more followers every day so go join here if you haven't already!

Thanks for reading my rambles from this week and I will speak to you in Wednesday's post.

QOTD: WHAT'S YOUR TWITTER HANDLE?
