My Month in Polaroids // July

Hello lovelies! Currently typing from The Black Forest in Germany in this post - which is absolutely boiling at the moment - but gorgeous all the same! As I've mentioned in quite a few posts, recently I bought myself a polaroid camera and while I've showed you it in my Love List ect. I realised I never actually showed the individual polaroids. I've loved taking pictures on it so far, especially on this holiday is such a great way to capture memories from country to country, and so in this post I thought I would start something new and do a 'My Month in Polaroids' post. Basically showing you all the polaroids I've taken this month and like a sum up of July if you know what I mean. Let me know if you enjoy this style of post because I'd love to do an August one!

JULY 1st - Cereal Killer Cafe

To begin... the first polaroid I ever took! This was taken at the start of July at the cereal killer Cafe in Brick Lane, where I went out with a couple of friends. I was behind the camera in this one, but I love how this polaroid came out. Paired with the 80's vibe of the cafe and the polaroid camera's natural filter the picture looks super retro.

JULY 2nd - Party

This was taken at about 1 am the next day, after a late-night party with friends. Looking back on it we couldn't stop laughing about how awful and tired we looked but it was a funny memory anyway. Don't ask me why we had a guitar in the photo... when we woke up none of us could remember either!

JULY 3rd - Pizza // Waterfights // Birthday Cake

Such a fun day that I'm so glad I managed to capture on my polaroid camera! Even though the camera was on the wrong setting so we all look super white haha, I love this. It was one of my friend's birthday's so we ended up in her garden all day, eating pizza, having waterfights and of course a bit of birthday cake. It was also crazy hot that day looking back!

JULY 8th - Another Party

Another party that next week! I completely forgot I had taken this one until I found it when taking pictures for this post, but this was such a fun night. I was the one taking this polaroid (almost falling off a chair as I did it!) but it's a lil' snippet of that party and including people there that I might have forgotten otherwise which I love.

JULY 22nd - Free Nandos // Meeting YazOnline

The most random and spontaneous day by far this month! A friend and I bumped into YazOnline and her youtube meetup at Westfield which was so cool, and since there weren't that many people at the start I got to take this polaroid with her. She was so lovely and until that day I had no idea she's actually my age! Also that day we somehow ended up with a free nandos meal after this group of people offered to pay for us. Still so confused but hey free nandos is free nandos...and this was such a fun day.

JULY 30th - Tulips in Amsterdam

Here is where my holiday begins! I spent last week in Amsterdam (which I am just as in love with as I was before haha!) I won't tell you too much about it now since I'm planning a whole travel blog post for it at the end of the week, but as well as going on canal cruises // visiting the Anne Frank house // and Flea Markets, we also saw the floating flower market which Amsterdam is famous for. This is where this polaroid of me was taken, surrounded by colourful dutch tulips!
