My Aesthetic

I feel like you can tell so much about a person from their pictures, whether it be blog photos or just a good 'old instagram theme! Everyone kinda has that distinct style of photos that they're drawn to, a Pinterest board that all fits together whether you realise it or not, and an aesthetic that says so much about them and their personality.

I was talking to one of my friends Olivia (from Oliva Alesha) the other day for example, and we were comparing our different aesthetics through a mood board. We gathered lots of photos from tumblr, Pinterest and Instagram to create a board that we thought best summed up our personalities and guess what... they turned out SO different!

Olivia chose more crisp, white and kind of pastel toned pictures, with lots of fashion/beauty-related pictures and pops of peachy pink and copper.
I feel like this totally sums her up, sweet (pink) but with that neat and classy part of her personality that I love. Also, fricking beautiful too of course!

While I, as you can see from the main mood board, opted for rustic white wood, grey toned, minimalistic pictures with green shades too. Oh and a whole lot of cacti hehe! Classic, cool and simple. The black and white basically representing everything in my closet haha, and the green as the lil' bit of fun on the inside.

Anyway, what about you guys? What colours or themes do you think represent your aesthetic? Everyone is a little different and I would love to know <3

  5. I love your aesthetic. It is so pretty! Your theme is really nice! I think I go for white pictures most of the time, which created a theme on Instagram. But on the blog, I guess just bright pictures! xx Corinne

  10. Wow, funny that my post was about why you shouldn't worry about your blog photos but your photos are INCREDIBLE. And this is a great post about how people's photos and aesthetics differ but they're all beautiful!
