April Love List

Hey lovelies! How are you all? Despite all my past Love Lists (which have included rambly moans about the month!) I've actually enjoyed April so much. The combination of Easter, School Holidays, and days out with friends have just boosted my mood completely and what can I say... I'm feeling fAb! This month's lil selection of 'loves' include everything from makeup, to netflix shows, to Easter treats and fun fact: This is also my 12th ever Love List (whoop whoop!) It feels strange to think that I've sat down and written a post like this every month for a whole year, but I love looking back on them and seeing how the objects in the posts kinda 'sum up' me then. If you want to check out the other 11 of my Love Lists, then just click the link here  but for now, I hope you enjoy April''s one lovelies!

01. 13 Reasons Why - Netflix

Now I'm sure by now you've already heard of this show (I mean the internet went crazy about it ever since it was released on March 31st) but over this month I've been working my way through the episodes and I have to say it's the best thing I've watched in a long while. I read the book by Jay Asher years ago, and so when I heard they were making a tv show of it I was so excited- but also pretty nervous! Suicide is such a triggering subject and so hard to portray without romanticising it, but I think it was handled really well in 13 Reasons Why and was sUch a powerful show to watch (I was in tears by the end.) Would 100% recommend this if you haven't seen it already, literally getting all emotional just thinking about it ahh!

02.  Baked Blush in the shade '06' - Focallure (£4)

A new makeup purchase this month and something I've been absolutely loving lately, is this baked blush from Focallure! I'm not usually one for blushers, mainly because I never quite find ones that suited my skin tone well enough, but this little baked one has changed me aha. I love the marble-ly look of this, and it's warm peachy kind of colour that looks so pretty when dusted across your cheekbones - plus it's just £4! Focallure also has a rainbow highlighter which looks so cool on the website.

03. ScrapBook - Amazon (£5.72)

This month I have really gotten into scrapbooking and spent whole days just putting together pages and all round loving it! After watching Gabby from velvetgh0st's video where she showed her scrapbook I suddenly got a whole lotta inspiration and bought this plain black-leaf scrapbook from Amazon which I've been filling up ever since. In this book, I've been doing two pages for every month, including everything from my Birthday in January to the Dodie Concert in March, and I can't wait to get started on April's page soon!

04. Daily Balancing Moisturiser - Yes to Tomatoes (Full Bottle £12.39)

In terms of skincare, one of my favourite things this month has been the 'Yes to Tomatoes' daily balancing moisturiser. Although I don't even own a full bottle, my mum had a ton of samples from an event and so I've been basically living off these this April! It's such a lovely lightweight moisturiser, perfect for under makeup and the whole brand is about natural paraben free skincare which I love. It also smells amazing haha, and as soon as my box full of samples runs out I will definitely be buying the full bottle!

05. Mini Eggs - Cadbury (£1.50)

I feel like you knew a cheeky Easter Treat was coming in this month's Love List, but yep... I became addicted to Cadbury mini-eggs all over again this year and I'm not mad about it hehe! What's not to love? These have been my guilty pleasure over the Easter Holidays, and I'm not sure whether they're sold all year round but I'l be so sad if I can't get them anymore.

I've tried some Yes to products and some were okay with my skin and some made it react! I really like the sound of the moisturiser tho hence why i'm asking!
