Heya lovelies, how have you all been! This month has had complete ups-and-downs but thankfully as I write this I've made it through March haha and I'm actually feeling really happy at the moment. I feel like the intros of my Love Lists are basically my time to ramble whatever's been going on lately and so in short, my March consisted of a Dodie Concert, anxious days, way too many Lush trips, failing blog stats, and a haircut! Pretty much it, hehe. Like I said, I feel like my month has really been all-over the place but I'm feeling super motivated for a fresh start in April (as cliché as it sounds!) both blog related and general life. I really want to put more personal content out on my blog about how I'm actually feeling day to day, and stop worrying as much about making each post perfect and like a magazine article if you know what I mean. I feel like I'm losing my sense of what makes this blog 'mine' and so I'm desperate to get that back next month. Anyway, for now here's the one thing that stays consistent around here: My Love List! Enjoy lovelies <3
01. Experimenter Bath Bomb - Lush (£4.25)
It's no secret I love a good old Lush bath, and this bath bomb has been an absolute dream! It's probably the most colourful bath bomb I've ever used from Lush, 5 super bright colours swirling in your bath ahh and is the perfect thing to treat yourself to on a quiet night in. The colours are constantly changing from pink, to yellow, green, purple and finally a deep blue and it isn't filled with crazy amounts of glitter like other Lush bombs I've tried (intergalactic I'm looking at you!)
02. Oversized Denim Jacket - Boohoo (£25)
I had been on the lookout for a denim jacket this month and so when I spotted this on Boohoo along with free next-day delivery I dropped it into my basket straight away! I love the oversized look this has so I ordered it 2 sizes bigger and what can I say... I practically live in this now! Also, I've been super into patches lately and so I'm in the midst of sewing them on to this jacket (there's a cactus patch on it's way haha) and I love the look it gives.
03. Coin Necklace - Handmade
I've had this for a while now after I picked up this spanish coin on my trip to Barcelona in the Autumn but I've found it's become one of those signature kind of necklaces I never take off! It's so simple but holds such a sweet memory of a holiday too, and I can't wait to collect even more from other trips.
03. Dodie Concert - 02 Academy Islington (£18)
If you have me on snapchat - or any other social media for that matter- you will know just how bloody FABULOUS I found the Dodie Concert and what can I say ... I'm still not over it! Dodie was amazing live, and it was all-round such an amazing night, plus I got to meet hundreds of fans just like me (wearing a ton of glitter and 'dodie-yellow' of course!) My friend's dad came with us and while we were in the mosh pit, he ended up standing right next to dodie's little sister Heddy, Hazel Hayes, Evan, and Jack Howard by complete coincidence. Ughh I was so jealous aha, but it was the highlight of my month and we managed to pick up some merch like you can see in the picture!
04. Yellow Nail Varnish - Rimmel
Charlotte also gifted me this in our swap box this month, especially to wear to the concert which was so thoughtful of her! Of course I did and LOVED it <3
05. Solstice Highlighting Palette - Sleek (£10)
You might remember this highlighter from my Golden Glow Kit, but these highlighters have been my FAVOURITE thing this month! Not only are they super pigmented and gorgeous shades, it's just £10 and in my opinion better than any high-end highlighters I've ever tried. It comes with four highlighters: 'Ecliptic' (a rosy, shimmery pink) 'Hemisphere' ( a cream, pearly shade) 'Subsolar' (a light, yellow-toned one) 'Equinox' (a peachy, golden shimmer) and I am in love with all of them. So perfect for inner-corner highlights too ahh!
06. Master Precise Liquid Liner - Maybelline New York (£5.99)
Now I'm definitely no liquid liner pro, in fact I pretty much steered clear of the stuff for years mainly because I have the most unsteady hands and was never any good at it ... but this liner has literally changed me aha! It's amazingly pigmented, easy to control with its felt-tip style, and fab for liner-dummies like me who suck at it! I'm still getting there with wings hehe, but this makeup product has helped so much and I will definitely be repurchasing this when it runs out.
QOTD: WHAT'S YOUR FAVOURITE CONCERT YOU'VE BEEN TO?
