Golden Glow Kit // My Makeup Essentials

Hello lovelies, and happy Sunday! It's been so long since I've done a full-on beauty post, meaning I've had a whole lotta lovin' for a whole lotta different products since then! So as a little extra post this week I thought I'd do a 'Golden Glow Kit' showing you all my favourite makeup-related bits for that classic golden look that I've found myself wearing so often lately. I'm taking you through my skin essentials, bronzy eyeshadows, liners ... and of course highlighters (because what's this kind of look without them!) There's a total mix in here, from Urban Decay to drugstore brands
like Collection so if you want to quite literally delve into my makeup bag hehe -keep on reading. <3

Skin:

I'm sure I've already mentioned this in my January Love List ... but this concealer is an absolute dream! It's high converage, lightweight and brightens your under-eyes beautifully - perfect for that flawless, glowing look. I cannot recommend this concealer enough, definitely one of my makeup staples!

Highlighters:

For a pearly, natural sort of glow this highlighter is amazing. I actually purchased this one way back in the Summer, and it's still going strong despite how much I use it haha! Unlike a lot of highlighters, highbeam comes in liquid form and with an almost nail-polish like applicator but I find it works amazing for beautiful sheen across your cheekbones.

A friend bought this for me as a gift, and now it's one of the most loved products in my makeup bag! There are 4 different highlighters in here, 'Ecliptic,'Hemisphere,' 'Subsolar,' and 'Equinox' (one cream, and 3 powder ones) but I think my favourite for this kind of look has to be Equinox. It's a peachy/gold shade that works wonders as an inner-corner highlight. I've also heard it's a fab dupe for the Anastasia Beverly Hills Peach Nectar Highlighter and good news for y'all, it's just £10!

For an all-round bronze-y glow, this has been one of my favourite highlighters. There are essentially 5 different shades in the block, but when strobed together then make a gorgeous shimmery gold colour that looks amazing dusted across the tops your cheeks.

Although this palette is a bit of an investment (£40 woahhh) it contains the most perfect metalic, shimmery style eyeshadows (and of course knowing Urban Decay, they're super pigmented!) My favourite shades would have to be 'Smog' a classic golden colour, 'Toasted' a rose-gold shimmery one, or 'Dark Horse' a dark metalic.

Maybelline New York - Master Precise Liquid Liner £5.99

If you're like me (and suck at liquid eyeliner!) then this one if perfect for you. It's felt-tip form means it's amazing for beginners and to give that simple precise line that goes beautifully with looks like this so I thought it deserved a place in my Golden Glow Kit. I was determined not to give up with liquid eyeliner and thanks to this black liner I've finally (just about) got the hang of it. Such a good drugstore product!

QOTD: ARE YOU A LIQUID LINER PRO OR TOTAL BEGINNER LIKE ME?
