Hello lovelies! It's that time of the month again for my Love List and I have to say I found it so hard to decide what to include in this one, because there's so much I wanted to show you! January was my birthday month (whoop whoop!) but that also means a whole lot of amazing gifts that I've been trying out lately and if I could include every single one of them in this post I would haha. I feel like I always sum up how each month has been in my Love Lists, so for January I would have to say it's been a bit mixed! Of course I have enjoyed my birthday, but at the start of this month I felt mentally at an all time low. Now I can say I'm definitely a lot happier but still going in-and-out of that feeling, and so I've spent a lot of January just trying to 'pick myself up' in a way and I hope that mood will fade in the coming months. Anyway, I have a new, colourful selection of things I've been loving lately and if you've been here before you'll know these can be anything from Lush to Events - so I hope you all enjoy having a scroll through!
01. Snow Fairy Shower Gel & Unicorn Bubble Bar - Lush (£3.95 & £4.25)
I was spoilt rotten in terms of Lush stuff by my family this year (thank you, thank you, thank youuu) but these were the two products I have been using most this month. I know snow fairy is a lot of people's favourite Lush scent and after finally trying it myself I have to say it's become one of mine too! It's the first shower gel by Lush I've ever tried and I was so impressed with it and so sad it's limited edition. I've also been through quite a few of the unicorn bubble bars this month, I mean they're just the most colourful, prettiest things and smell equally as sweet as Snow Fairy! Mmm
02. Naked Skin Concealer - Urban Decay (£17.50)
A birthday present this year, and a much much much loved one too! I have a couple of bits and pieces from Urban Decay but I had never tried their concealers until now, and what can I say... I'm obsessed! Granted, it's pretty pricey for a concealer but amazing quality, weightless, and great for covering dark circles. My one is in the shade 'light neutral.'
03. Blue Ripped Mom Jeans - New Look (£29.99)
A fashion piece to add to my Love List would have to be this pair of jeans! I don't usually wear this style of jeans, however after hours of online shopping and staring at them earlier this month I finally convinced myself to buy them and have not regretted it at all! Mom jeans are so easy to style and have such a casual yet stylish element to it that pretty much make it one of my favourite wardrobe pieces.
04. Gorgeous Glow Highlighter - Collection (£4.99)
This highlighter has been my absolute go-to this month! It's such a simple all in one style highlighting palette and I've found it's soft bronze colours are just perfect for my skin tone. I like to sweep this across the tops of my cheekbones and the powder gives such a beautiful glow - people have been asking my a lot lately where it's from!
05. Milk and Honey Book - Rupi Kaur (£7.99)
You might remember this featured in my Tea and Things post, and for good reason because it's literally been everywhere with me! Like I mentioned in that post, I've recently found myself getting really into poetry and this book has been such an amazing read. Rupee Kaur's style includes lots of short, but oh so beautifully written poems and I would honestly recommend it to any of you.
I have had such a brilliant birthday this month, and so thank you so much for everyone's birthday wishes. Especially you guys and all my blogging friends, it just made it even more special. Love you all and thank you for reading! <3
