Blogging Organisation Tips // Blogging Chatter 02

Hey lovelies! When I asked you guys on Twitter, most of you asked for a post on staying organised in Blogging and so that's what I'm writing for y'all today! There's so much to do and plan when it comes to blogging that is can be hard to stay organised (especially when you have school and homework to keep track of too like me.) I'm definitely not the most organised person, far from it in fact. but I've kind of had to force myself to be for blogging and so here are a few tips and tricks that might help you too!

01. POST O'CLOCK
Having a blog schedule is really going to help you stay orgasnised in blogging, whether you post once a week, everyday or just once a month. I personally like to post twice a week on Wednesdays and Sundays at 11:00 am and it means I can keep track of how many posts I've put up and when I need to write more.

02. NOTEBOOKS, NOTEBOOKS, NOTEBOOKS
*High five* if you recognise my cactus notebook in the picture hehe! Notebooks come is so handy for anything blogging related and I swear I've written about 100 random blog post ideas in them (even though I only end up using half of them!) Having a designated place for post ideas is great for soming back to when you hit that bit of bloggers block and means you never forget all those future posts. Even is notebooks aren't your sorta thing a note app on your phone works just fine, but that's okay because I'm a notebook hoarder!

03. YOUR PHOTOS
So one of the biggest parts of being a blogger is taking the photos! Whether you use your iphone or a fancy DSLR you're gonna need somewhere to store and backup your photos right? Maybe it's just me being and organisation freak here, but after I take my photos I always pop the SD card into the computer and take them off, then add them to a folder, edit them, then save to a whole new folder 'Blogging Final Pictures' with the post title and date on.

04. GOOD APPS TO DOWNLOAD
I definitely rely on apps for a lot of blog related things and a few of my favourites are AwesomeNote for categorising blog ideas and Bloglovin' to keep up with my favourite blogs.

05. TO DO LISTS
I have these scattered all around my desk in some shape or form and they are literally life-savers. I'm the kind of person who loves making lists or writing stuff down, It just makes me feel so much more prepared and so I scribble these all over my whiteboard or my blog post planner which has a little checklist for things like 'pictures taken,' 'post written' ect.
-You can see all of this in my desk tour here

06. SCHEDULING POSTS
I'm not the biggest fan of this since I hate pre-writing stuff most of the time but if you know you're away at a certain time or out, scheduling posts means they go up at whatever time you choose. It's a lot easier than realising you forgot to publish that post as you lie in bed at 2 o'clock in the morning!

What Morgan? Not an odd number of tips? Haha, I know I usually do 7 but the only other tip I could think of is that your readers will keep you organised, most likely asking 'where's Wednesday's post?' or reminding you 'The twitter chat's on tonight!'  You're the best people to keep me organised guys thanks so much x
and Ps. Do any of you recognise the pretend marble background from my How I take my Blog Photos post? Shhh blogging cheats hehe!

  19. Writing down ideas in notebooks works really well for me. Sometimes I even draw spider diagrams to structure my posts! I think having really cute notebooks like yours is more motivating too - not just for blogging but even for writing up to do lists :) Love this post & your marble table haha! <3
