Life Lately | Hot-Crossed Buns & Blogging Break!

Hello again lovelies! So you're probably wondering where I've been the past few weeks... and the answer is mostly eating chocolate eggs, sleeping and doing homework. Ugh I know haha!

I took a bit of a break from blogging over the Easter Hols and overall went through a bit of a 'Technologogy detox' where I tried my hardest to spend less time on the computer or on my phone and well, I'm back! It actually made me realise how truly addicted I was to social media and blogging, and I'm so glad I did it because now I feel so much more productive and positive in general! Don't get me wrong, I still LOVE Blogging, but I feel a little less dependant on it now :) I kinda just wanted to have a lil' catch up this week with you, talk a bit about what’s new, and what’s been happening so far in April. So prepare for a chatty 'Life Lately' post!

01.  Seaside Days

I've probably mentioned it on here before, but my family and I have a holiday-home by the seaside which I love to drive down to for weekends <3 My best friend joined us this time and omg we had so much fun! We spent most of the time at the beach, exploring the little coastal shops, and making loads of embarrassing memories hehe! We took lots of pretty photos too which I'm sure I'll show you guys in another post!

02. The Vamps

I went to my first concert this month! On Friday night last week I headed up to Central London, The 02 and saw The Vamps and it was amazinggg! Although I go to music festivals every year, this was the first proper concert I've been to and I absolutely loved it. As well as just performing their new songs, there were rising platforms on the stage, confetti explosions, and Brad was even throwing Polaroid's into the audience. Plus, a bunch of youtubers including Joe, Caspar, Oli and Conor Maynard were sitting in the boxes above me!

03. Summer's coming

I feel so summery at the moment! No really. I'm typing this post with a laptop on my bed while the beautiful sunshine is pouring through the window! Not gonna lie, the sun is getting in my eyes a bit now and its making it hard to type haha but lets forget about that for a sec coz its finally SUNNYYY! England's known for having rubbish weather so its so lovely to get a little bit of sunshine finally.

04. School

Ugh bring on the boring bit haha! School's tough and stressful as usual, but since it's getting to exam season for lots of the older students the teachers are starting to relax the homework on us. Well, a bit! I've still been doing essays and revision most of the hols, and the teachers won't stop reminding us that we'll be choosing our GCSE options next year aaahh! Is it just me, or are they making us school kids take our exams earlier and earlier nowadays!

05. Easter

I loved visiting and spending time with family during the whole 'Easter Celebrations,' and um, I think I've kinda become addicted to hot-crossed buns all over again hehe! This always happens around this time of the year, and I'm not even sorry because they taste so gooood! But amidst the chocolate eggs and sweets of Easter (which of course I will have been eating!) I've also been experimenting with other healthy recipes and have placed some embarrassingly large orders of Wholefoods goodies online so prepare for foodie posts haha.

Hope you didn't mind this mis-matched rambly post, but I desperately wanted to catch-up with you all! I'm even posting on a Monday (even though y'all know I post on Wednesday's) just because I couldn't stay away any longer hehe! Anyway, enough about me - let me know in the comments how you guys are doing! How was your Easter? What country are you reading from?

  17. Awww, welcome back to the blogging world! I've been kind of 'Off' the past few weeks. With just scheduled post but no actually input int the community. Kind of makes me realise I miss having a normal 'non-blog' life.
