Hey lovelies! So I love the seaside. A lot. I could literally go on for ages about the sound of the waves, the salty breeze in your hair and of course that lil' bit of beautiful sunshine you find down by the coast! I suppose I love it so much because I'm used to the big city (ya'know the noise, traffic, bustle) and so I always treasure the weekends when I get to drive down to the seaside with my family, and stay in our little apartment by the sea. Just a couple of weeks ago, my best friend came there to stay too and so I thought I would show you all what we got up to 'by the seaside!'
Our appartment overlooks one of the beaches here, so one of the first things we did was simply walk down there and explore. I love this beach in particular, because it's not really one of the 'main' ones in the area so it's usually quiet and you can have the whole stretch of the beach to yourself. It also have chalk cliffs (as you've probably seen in the picture above this) which is full of secret crevices and little fossils!

~ Old- fashioned Sweet Shops ~
The coastal town is filled with so many little unique shops including my absolute fav: The Sweet Shop! It's so cute inside, stacked with big jars of old-fashioned (but amazing!) sweets and a set of scales to weigh out how much you want. I came out with a little paper bag of bon-bons this time, but my friend went a lil' bit crazy in there and bought like half the shop hehe!

~ Polaroids on the beach ~
We also took loads of photos on the beach in the afternoon. We did try out hardest to get some cute ones, but after realising that wasn't gonna happen, we just had fun messing around there and filled our camera rolls with embarrassing pics!
~ Beach Huts ~
~ Wall Art ~
I also noticed lots of new wall art as we walked around the pier! This was just one of them I thought was cute, but there were so many dotted around the area in little hidden places hehe!
Yep- I posted again this week whaaaat! My blogging 'schedule' is kinda all over the place right now, but I quite liked uploading twice a week, what do you guys think? I am missing being by the sea so bad now I'm back to school again, but it was fun to write this almost like a 'throwback' post to the hols. Hope you are having a fab day lovelies!
QOTD: WOULD YOU RATHER LIVE IN THE CITY OR COUNTRYSIDE?
