The Sweet Smell of Pine | Decorating The Christmas Tree 2015!

18 more sleeps till Christmas guys! Not that I'm counting or anything hehe :)
On Saturday I spent a lovely evening decorating the Christmas tree with my family. It's become a bit of a tradition now that we all do it together on the first weekend of December (I know some people set theirs up way back in November though!) I love having the tree out, and that lovely smell of pine you get whenever you walk into a room. I've already spotted some sneaky presents under there too (hopefully there for me!) I thought I'd share some Christmassy pics of how this went, and hopefully this will get you in the festive mood!

I accidently took a slow shutter pic of the fairy lights- this is how it turned out!

I'm so excited this year, especially since it'll be our first Christmas in the new house! Thankfuly only one baubal got smashed this time (Courtesty of my sister!) Right now I have a Xmas playlist permanently on repeat (as if I'm not already in the Festive mood enough!) I feel like the build up to Christmas Day is almost the best bit, so I'll just be here by the fire, in my cosy socks, watching The Grinch and enjoying every bit of it until then! I know this was a very photo-heavy post, but thanks for reading lovelies x

Ps. I just made a We Heart It account so be sure to check that out Here :)

  4. Lovely photos! I put mine up last Monday! This year, it's theme is Rose Gold and Pinecones. It totally matches the pink iPhone 6s (which I'm not going to get for Christmas )= lol).

  5. I absolutely love the smell of pine! I always get my mom to buy a real christmas tree instead of an artificial one because the smell reminds me of christmas memories.

  11. Your tree looks amazing! We don't put up tree till around a week or so before Christmas as it goes dead pretty quickly and we like to keep it till around the middle of January :)

  12. Beautiful photos! I love the slow shutter speed one, so creative! We usually have our Christmas tree up on the 1st too, but it's all been a bit hectic recently so we only got them up yesterday!! But I agree, everything feels a bit more nice and festive now!
